Transformation
We did it. All of us. We voted and changed the world.
Now the work begins.
But we move forward with hope and wonder.
And we move forward behind a smart, brave, kind man.
Completely thrilling! And who would've thought that your state and mine would still be hanging in the wind this morning--but that even so, the results won't change the outcome? That's what happens when people everywhere join together in common purpose.
And, one other thing I noticed working the polls yesterday--so many voters coming clutching books under their arms to read while they waited. We are a nation of readers!
#1 daughter in NYC voted (absentee/Ohio) in her 1st Presidential election. She was elated to e part of the process. A friend of hers bought a bottle of champagne and a bottle of whiskey--for either eventuality. And now, we and the world can move forward with hope.

I'm exhausted but still cheering this morning.

Ah...the hangover this morning was worth it. I'm not used to all that champagne!

Whoo hoo for the UNITED States!! One of the best weeks of my life! Will be even better once we don't have to hear about Joe the Plumber anymore!
