I keep thinking I shouldn't really be as busy as I am, but no one else seems to agree. We head to Columbus, OH this weekend for my older son's college graduation and can I say that time has flown so fast I'm surprised I don't have whiplash? How did all these kids get taller and savvier and, oh, so grown-up?
I've got some summer book picks I'll be writing about next week . . . so stay tuned!
And, if I didn't already hunt you down by e-mail and send you this link, here's my shameless plea to click and send me to San Francisco. Red Room is a new site where authors and readers can connect. They're fairly new and are trying to build traffic. Click here which will take you to my page and you can then tool around the whole site and find other authors. I'll get credit for each unique hit on each of my pages--the author with the most unique hits at the end of the month gets a trip to San Francisco for a dinner with other authors.
Happy June!

Hey, that Red Room site is pretty cool. I clicked over yesterday for a peek, and I'll definitely be back.
Happy graduation!!! Have a great trip.
Done! Have a great trip and I have my fingers crossed there's a trip to S.F. in your future :)
Oh, have fun at graduation, and try not to cry too hard! Congratulations to both your son - and to you, too. You deserve some kudos!
Thanks, Kristen! We;re really looking forward to it.
Hey Lisa, I'll keep you posted.
Melanie, thanks. I was getting weepy all day today--it's such a big, fun step for him. And I'm so proud of the man he's become. But, at times, I also miss that little boy!
Nifty site to visit, Judy. BTW, I have your book at my elbow and should finish it this weekend. Have a great trip!! K.
Hey K, thanks, and let me know what you think when you finish it.
Hi Judy,
Just checked out Red Room, so you're another vote closer to Cali!
BTW, congrats on your son's graduation. I have two daughters in college, the time does fly! Have a good weekend.

Awesome! Will do.
The baseball fandom is explained, but what about your affinity for the green and gold? Does that come with the Bucky Badger schooling? :) Or is it simply (ahem) good taste?
Joanne-Thanks! Time does fly.
Jess-Great to see you here.
Daisy--Well, I first moved up there in 1980, so that helped, but 'd been visiting Madison and my crazy Packer relatives since 1965 (Bart Starr, baby!) so they've been in my blood a long time. And who didn't fall in love with Brett?
You should celebrate that you totally don't look like you have a child graduating from college!! Go girl!
Judy, I forgot to follow up after finishing your book! Kudos to you on an intriguing read; I'm going to recommend it to my sister who lives in your neck of the woods. I know she'll love it! K.
